There are 5 great bedrooms upstairs, all with lovely rural views and delightfully quiet:
Bedroom 1
Bedroom 1 has wonderful high ceilings with centuries old exposed beams. Light floods in from two sides with views over verdant fields and sloping hills to the south. The king size bed has a hand made Vispring mattress for the best night’s sleep. There’s an ensuite bathroom with underfloor heating and big wide shower.
This is a very special place, with a real sense of history. The house is beautifully finished and decorated …. Upstairs bedrooms are delightfully quiet with well-dressed beds and views.
Sawdays review November 2022
Bedroom 2 has high ceilings supported by thick beams bowed with age. Windows held up by old oak lintels look out onto the garden lawns. There’s an amazing old carved stone fireplace (no longer working), and above that an installation of dried flowers by a local artist. The superking bed has a handmade Millbrook mattress and carved wooden headboard - it’s zip and link so can be made into two 3ft singles. There’s a light filled ensuite with shower and WC and underfloor heating.

Bedroom 3
Bedroom 3 has a lovely William Holland tin bath - laze in it while taking in the views over the valley. There’s a king size Victorian cast iron bed with a hand made Vispring mattress, big wide old elm floorboards and an ensuite WC.
Bedroom 4 has fabulous views south and west. Also with a Victorian cast iron king size bed and Vispring mattress. It shares a family bathroom with bed 5 - shower over a big bath

Bedroom 5 is a twin room , with 2 extra trundle beds under the single beds. It has views onto the tree house and back garden.
